New holiday resort with Maldives-like swim up rooms to open in Greece this summer and it’s near the beach

A NEW hotel resort is opening this summer in Greece and it has Maldives-like swim-up rooms.
Anna Island, in Halkidiki, is a brand new opening for the region in time for the summer.
The adult-only resort's main attraction is its central swimming pool which winds through the resort.
Some of the fancier rooms have access to the pool directly, with the swim up rooms looking something more like the Maldives.
Guests will be able to choose between a buffet or a la carte dining, while in the day there are drinks at the pool bar.
And evening entertainment during the peak season will include live music and DJs as well as bingo and karaoke.

It is around 650m from the nearest beach, which is in the seaside village of Pefkochori.
And there are five room types, ranging from pool view as well as swim up rooms.
Little-else is known about the hotel ahead of its opening.
But the resort could be opening as soon as April, which reduced rates for £423pp for a seven-night holiday package.

Flights can be from both London Stansted and Birmingham.
