The book, called Photographing Cornwall and Devon Including Dartmoor and Exmoor by landscape photographer Adam Burton, showcases breathtaking views from across the two counties.

Pictures include a sunset at Hartland Quay in North Devon, South Devon’s Start Point, Snapes Point in Salcombe, Brent Tor, Haytor Down and the Botallock Mines.

Covering the UK’s spectacular coastline and moorlands, this eye-catching photograph collection shows the rugged landscapes that the coastal counties are renowned for at their best.

He said: "Given so much choice of location, a decision was made to concentrate on specific highlights within each county, namely the superb coastlines and the national parks."

He continued: “Each location was selected purely through personal appeal; if I have missed out a favourite of yours I apologise.

“But I hope I can introduce you to a few new special places.”

Some of the destinations in the book are well-known coastlines such as the Treryn Dinas and Logan Rock in Cornwall, whereas others are hidden gems.

The book also features guides on how to get to each location, as well as suggestions as to which time of the year is best to visit.

Adam added: “Some of the locations are popular areas for photographers, while others are less well known.

“Landscape photography is such a wonderful hobby that provides us with plentiful opportunity to get outside of our homes and explore the beautiful natural areas around the UK.

“Whether you are looking for a beach or cliff top views, moorland, river or forest, the end result is a book that contains a variety of landscape to help, guide and inspire you when visiting the South West.”
