UK’s biggest park is home to an award-winning adventure attraction with huge playground and ‘roller slide’
IF you need a place to let the kids run amok this Easter, then you should head to the UK's largest park.
Windsor Great Park is set across 4,800 acres of forests, grassland and gardens.
But for anyone exploring with the kids, they've also got one of the best places to play.
The Adventure Play park, set across 1.2 acres, first opened in 2023 and in it you'll find a world of walkways, slides, sculptures, and treehouses.
It also features the UK's first roller slide which is a unique slide with rollers instead of a smooth surface.
There are different areas in the park for smaller children, such as mini climbing nets, tree stump trails, and swings.

For older children, there's plenty to explore on the huge wooden climbing frame, which also has slides and rope bridges.
Scattered across the park there are over 100 wooden mice to spot.
There's also lots of seating around the park so adults can keep an eye on the little ones.
And when everyone gets hungry, there's a cafe with hot and cold food options, and a gift shop.

Tickets for adults range from £10-£12, with tickets for children aged 2-17 costing £13-£16, depending on whether you book for a peak or off-peak day and time.
Each booked session lasts two hours.
One visitor described their visit as "magical" on Tripadvisor.
They continued to add: "The playground is beautifully and thoughtfully designed and built, down to the last detail. We went for our kids (2-4 years) but we all ended up climbing, exploring and shooting down the slides with them."
Another wrote: "Unexpectedly amazing, and so much to discover. Amazing coffee shops and restaurants close by. Everything clean and lovely atmosphere!"
The Adventure Play park is about to be awarded one of the greatest honours in the themed visitor experience industry by the Themed Entertainment Association.
Windsor Great Park Adventure Play will be awarded for outstanding achievement in its attractions category.
The award will be presented at its Los Angeles ceremony in March 2025.

Lilidorei Is The Biggest Outside Play Structure In The UK
Lilidorei is a magical village with its own fantasy lore, including nine clans of magical creatures like elves, trolls and fairies.
The magical creatures celebrate Christmas throughout the year, meaning Lilidorei always has a sprinkle of festive magic - even in the summer months.

Standing at 85ft, Elfwin Drin is taller than the Angel of the North.
The towering play structure is actually the King of Lilidorei's castle and doubles as a huge playhouse.
