When does the Tiger King series start?

Joe Exotic, known better as the Tiger King, is back in a new TV series, this time portrayed by John Cameron Mitchell.

His constant altercations and vendetta against cat-lover and Cat Rescue owner Carole Baskin will be explored with none other than Saturday Night Live cast member, Kate McKinnon, portraying his hated rival.

The series will be released on March 3, 2022, on Peacock and fans are already clamoring for the upcoming show.

"SoOoOoOoO who else is excited for Joe vs Carole? I will most definitely be watching it," one person posted on Twitter.

Another person expressed their excitement at the upcoming series and said, "I’m not embarrassed to admit that I will be subscribing to @peacockTV now so that I can watch Joe vs. Carole. Can’t wait."

What will the Joe vs Carole TV series be about?

The new Tiger King series explores the toxic relationship between Carole Basking and Joe Exotic who ultimately went to jail for an alleged attempt on Baskin's life.

Peacock released a trailer for the show in January that promised viewers, "the story you know was only half the tale."

The plot summary on Peacock says, "... Carole has a checkered past of her own and when the claws come out, Joe will stop at nothing to expose what he sees as her hypocrisy. The results prove dangerous."

The show will introduce other well-known faces from the original Tiger King show including Joe Exotic's partners Travis Maldonado, played by Nat Wolff, and John Finlay, played by Sam Keeley.

Based on the Joe Exotic podcast, Joe vs Carole explores the rivalry between the two cat-lovers as Carole Baskin strives to shut down Joe Exotic's big cat breeding-for-profit scheme.

In a statement, showrunner Etan Frankel said, "Joe vs Carole is a wild ride. It's a fun and rich journey into the story of people who live very extreme lives.

"... I hope that when people watch Joe vs Carole just maybe they'll see these people that they thought they knew in a brand-new way. We knew it would take two extraordinary actors to portray these larger-than-life people as the complex, three-dimensional individuals that they are."

Where can I watch the Tiger King series?
