How many episodes of The Ipcress File are there?

ITV's new show The Ipcress File has arrived on our screens with some familiar faces.
How many episodes can fans expect from the new thriller? Here's what we know.
The Ipcress File consists of six episodes - and all are available to binge watch in one go.
ITV released the whole series on the ITV Hub after the first episode aired on Sunday, March 6, 2022, so if you can't wait to watch it week by week, you can find out what happens to Harry Palmer now.
The role of Harry was made famous in the 1965 film by Michael Caine.
Playing Caine's part in the ITV adaptation of The Ipcress File is Peaky Blinders star Joe Cole.
Lucy Boynton is cast as Jean Courtney, Harry's love interest.
Lucy is known for her role as the young Beatrix Potter in Miss Potter back in 2006, and played Mary Austin in the 2018 movie Bohemian Rhapsody.
ITV's The Ipcress File is inspired by the book written by Len Deighton which was released in 1962.
The 1965 movie was also adapted from the book.
Emmy-winning director James Watkins shared his thoughts on the series and said: "We can’t wait to bring Len Deighton’s intoxicating web of spies – sexier than Smiley’s people, more real than Bond – to a wider television audience.
"With his sly wit and understated integrity clashing against the establishment, working-class spy Harry Palmer is more relevant than ever."
The Ipcress File premiered on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at 9pm on ITV.
New episodes of the show will be shown every Sunday over six weeks.
Some fans may recognise locations such as Liverpool's Hope Street and Falkner Street in the new show.
Other notable locations include the outside of Liverpool Lime Street station, St George's Hall and Castle Street.
Episodes of The Ipcress File are all available for streaming on the ITV Hub.
