She looked incredible in the statement piece as she graced the red carpet at the star-studded event.

Vicky elevated her height with a pair of matching strappy heels and wore her blonde locks in tousled waves.

She accepted the award for Best New Drama alongside Eric Shango, for their ITV thriller series Trigger Point.

In the speech, Vicky said: "What’s incredible about the NTAs, it’s the fans and viewers and that’s what matters in television.

"I want to say thank you to Jed Mercurio and to our wonderful directors and everyone who worked on this."

Those watching at home were left floored by Vicky's appearance, with many taking to Twitter to air their thoughts on it.

Alongside an array of red love heart emojis, one person penned: "Vicky McClure looks stunning on the red carpet at the National Television Awards tonight!"

Echoing their comments, someone else said: "Vicky McClure is awesome. She looks amazing."

While a third remarked: "Vicky McClure looking rather nice tonight, I must say."

Last night's awards saw Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby booed by some members of the audience, before This Morning was announced as the winner of Best Daytime Award.

The presenters found themselves at the centre of controversy in September when they were accused of skipping the queue to see the Queen lying in state, which they both denied.

Other notable winners at the ceremony included Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly for Best Presenter, Anton Du Beke for TV Judge, Peaky Blinders for Returning Drama and Emmerdale for Serial Drama.
