She recently opened up on the moment she found out she was going to host the hit dating show.
Towards the end of last year, the Bristol-born beauty was announced as the new face, weeks after The Sun exclusively revealed Maya had been chosen to front it.
On Friday's instalment of This Morning with Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond, the star explained that accepting the role was a “no brainer.”
Maya said: “I found out quite a few months ago. A little while ago I found out it was a no brainer obviously because I’m a massive fan of the show.
“I was like ‘ok when does it start?’ and they explained they were doing the winter one again so I thought ‘right, I’m coming back soon.’
“And it was all a bit of a blur to be honest but I found out and said yes absolutely, so now I’m off to South Africa.”
