Comic Relief 2024: How to watch Red Nose Day plus time, channels, hosts & guests

EVERY year Comic Relief encourages us to wear silly red noses and have some fun, all while raising money for charity.
The annual event also enlists celebrities to provide entertainment and encourage much needed donations.
Red Nose Day is a charity event that takes place every year and encourages people to raise money for good causes.
Across the UK, people are encouraged to take part in fundraising events in aid of Comic Relief.
These include cake bakes, sporting challenges and wearing red clothes to school.
People can help to raise funds by purchasing a red nose or other merchandise from the .

The annual telethon brings with it an evening of entertainment featuring a host of stars, live music, exclusive prizes, comedy and much more.
Red Nose Day also sees fundraising events going on up and down the country.
Legendary Comic Relief host Sir Lenny Henry will be back on the stage for one last time.
In early 2024, the comedian announced he would be retiring from the annual telethon.
Sir Lenny said he would be stepping down as "it is time for someone else to take the reins".
But before he bows out he will be live on air for Comic Relief 2024, encouraging donations and introducing a mix of comedy specials, cameos and live performances.

Comic Relief 2024 kicks off at 7pm on Friday, March 15, 2024.
Over the course of the evening viewers will be treated to a whole host of comedy sketches.
The ones that have been confirmed so far include the cast of W1A looking for Lenny Henry’s replacement
Plus there will be The Traitors: The Movie celebrity special.
There will also be an Alan Partridge sketch.
Comic Relief kicks off at 7pm on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer.
The telethon runs until 11.40pm, which means you get nearly five hours of fun and fundraising.
The show briefly moves over to BBC Two while the news plays out on BBC One.
After the news, Comic Relief returns to BBC One at 10.40 for an hour long episode called A Whole Lotta Lenny, where all of Lenny Henry's best bits from over the years will be shown.
This is to honour his legacy, after it was revealed he was retiring from the annual Comic Relief telethon.
The Red Nose Day theme has always been "Do something funny for money".
Although the theme doesn't change, every year a brand new red nose is introduced.
For 2024, there are four fun characters to collect.
There also is a one in 166 chance to get your hands on a limited edition Rare "Gold" Nose, known as the Golden Hooter.
