Gary Lineker returning to screens on ITV show after telly schedule shake-up

GARY Lineker is returning to screens with his ITV game show the week after Match of the Day was kicked off of BBC One for Eurovision.
The former footballer turned presenter, 62, will be back on ITV with his very own show.
Sitting on a Fortune will be returning to the broadcaster for a second series with Gary as host.
It sees contestants try to win tens of thousands of pounds - by answering just one question.
During the show players attempt to stay in the money chair for the chance to win a massive jackpot.
There are no lifelines, safety nets or chances to walk away meaning contestants must risk everything on getting the right answer in the hope of taking home the big prize.

The pulse-quickening general knowledge quiz features six players all trying to be in the right place at the right time to take away a potentially life-changing amount of money.
The new series kicks off on Sunday, 28 May at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
Gary's return to ITV comes after the Beeb pulled Match of the Day from its schedules.
The broadcaster culled a number of shows including the hugely popular sport's series to make way for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Lineker was reinstated to Match of the Day after being taken of off it for what the Beeb said was a breach of impartiality rules.
He criticised the Government's treatment of refugees and likened Home Secretary Suella Braverman's language to that used in 1930s Germany.
Following suspension, Lineker's BBC Sport colleagues rallied around him and refused to participate in broadcasts until his reinstatement.
