CORONATION Street veteran Ellie Leach has disclosed what she couldn't leave the soap without after it was revealed she was stepping away from the show.
Ellie has walked the cobbles of Weatherfield for 12 years, playing the role of Faye Windass.
Joining the long-running soap at the age of 10, the now 22-year-old is ready to spread her wings and see what else she can lend her acting skills to.
Next week Faye is set to leave Coronation Street, and after a troubled few years following her teen pregnancy and early menopause, who can blame her?
Faye is seeking a new life after reconnecting with her daughter Miley and ex Jackson Hodge (Joseph William Evans) and ahead of exiting the soap, Ellie told the what she had to take with her.
She started off with the more obvious choices. She said: “I actually took quite a few of her clothes which, to be fair, I've always said she’s not really got very good style, Faye.

“But she’s got the odd little piece like she’s got a cute little jacket or a pair of jeans or a pair of trainers.”
Next up she revealed she wanted to still have the Faye feel off-set and added: "I did take a pair of Faye’s pyjamas actually which I've not had off since.
“They’re just normal pyjamas, but they’re really, really comfy and they just remind me of Faye. I love them.”
However, her list of keep sakes went a little darker as she mentioned one obscure item she kept.

She ended: "I think it’s always nice to have a little bit of her with me, and I also did keep – because I have a little memory box at home - I've got a sparkly green fingernail from when she dropped her stick-on nail down Ted’s sink.
“So I've kept a stick-on nail which is sparkly green and that’ll remind me that I ran over an old man.”
