Huge British drama returning for third season as production kicks off in just two months’ time
SKY is bringing back a wildly popular drama series for a third outing.
The highly-charged show Gangs of London will be back for a brand new series with production set to begin in just two months time.
Sky was left overwhelmed by the success of the very first series when it opened with huge numbers in 2020.
It became the highest rated Sky Originals drama to launch on Sky Atlantic with a whopping 2.2 million viewers watching the first episode in the first week of release.
This meant it had easily flown past the success of other Sky hits such as Save Me and Chernobyl.
The show features dark themes as it explores gang life in London and the power struggles and divide that comes with it.

When the head of one of London's most popular crime families is assassinated, it results in an epic power battle in order someone new to become the top player.
A second series of the show launched in November last year with fans set to be delighted once again at the latest news that a third will be going ahead.
Commenting previously on the show's return, one fan penned: "One of the best shows in years."
"Amazing news," said a second viewer.
