EAGLE-EYED EastEnders fans recalled a clue that ‘proved’ Fatboy is alive months before cameo.
BBC viewers were left pleasantly surprised after fan-favourite character Fatboy returned during Tuesday night’s episode.
Actor Ricky Norwood made a cameo appearance in the flashback scene with Cindy Beale from 2014.
Now, fans are convinced he could have been alive this whole time.
The soap star was “killed off” in a horrifying scene back in 2015, where he was crushed in the back of car in a scrapyard.
But viewers never saw a body leaving many hopeful that he managed to get out of alive.

Some fans have conspired that Fatboy knows the witness protection officer Mary, and is also in witness protection himself.

Soap bosses may be considering it as they dropped a subtle clue about his upcoming return eight months ago.

While in Dot's living room Reiss pulled one of the cards down from the shelf.
"With Deepest Sympathy", it said on the front, but what was inside has shocked fans.
It appeared to be a message from Arthur himself.
It read: "Mrs B - Forever in my heart. Arthur x."
Following the scene, fans have excitedly taken to social media, with one saying: "#EastEnders omg the card it's from Arthur "fatboy" Chubb! He is alive!"
Another said: "I'm sorry but what!!! Mrs B, Forever in my heart, Arthur."
"I never thought he was in the trunk of the car that got crushed! He is coming back like Dirty Den and Kath!" said a third.
