Show host Alison - who lost out on the Best Presenter gong as Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly picked it up for the 22nd year running - flaunted her slimmed-down figure in a floor length black dress.

Alison's look was finished with a dramatic cape that was also trimmed with sequins.

She wore her hair down and straight and beamed for waiting photographers while working the red carpet like a pro.

Alison was joined at the bash by her This Morning co-stars, including Holly Willoughby who looked typically stylish in a purple strapless dress.

More on Alison Hammond

It wasn't a great night for ITV's flagship show after they also lost out on the Best Daytime TV award for the first time in 12 years following the Phillip Schofield scandal.

Instead the gong went to to The Repair Shop fronted by Jay Blades.

A source told The Sun: "This Morning have won the Daytime award for 12 years so to lose now is a real kick in the teeth.

“There is a feeling that all the scandal surrounding Phil and what happened has damaged the brand.

“It is so hard for the team behind This Morning because they work so hard."
