Nineties boyband legends sign up for shock documentary after ex member made wild claims about time in the band

TAKE THAT can finally respond to Robbie Williams’ bombshell comments made in a TV show about his time with the band.
It has been 12 months since Dermot O’Leary sat down with ex-band member Rob on BBC Two’s Reel Stories, when the singer opened up.
Remaining members Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will now have their say when they appear as Dermot’s guests.
The lads will look back at their career through unseen, or little-known, footage.
A TV insider said: “When Robbie was on the show he talked about his ‘beef’ with Gary, which he took to levels ‘that were unnecessary and unkind’ — and how he worries Gary will still feel hurt about it all.
“The singer also said being in the band sparked ‘the onset of mental illness’, which included downing bottles of vodka after rehearsals and years of ensuing drug and alcohol abuse.

The episode was filmed last week and is due to air later this year as part of the new series.

The first episode aired last night and Peter said: “I thought it tried too hard to be a crime drama and I hope it goes back to the way I envisaged it was going to be in later episodes.”
