Film fans are only just realising Scarlett Johansson appeared in Home Alone – did you spot her?
HOME Alone fans have been left blown away after realising Scarlett Johansson appeared in the franchise.
The hit American actress, 39, is best known for her roles in Black Widow and Lucy.
However, years previous Scarlett had a prominent role in the third instalment of Home Alone.
She played the character of Molly Pruitt, the sister of Alex, who took over the lead role from Macaulay Culkin.
During the 1997 movie Alex was left at home after catching chickenpox.
The youngster ends up taking on an international terrorist gang who are on the hunt for a toy car that is mistakenly placed in his care.

A special computer chip is implanted in the toy vehicle, and, if placed in the wrong hands, could have devastating consequences.
Fans of the hit film are only now just realising Scarlett starred in the flick and have taken to social media in shock.
Writing on X, formerly Twitter, one watcher said: "How the hecking HECK did I not know Scar Jo is in Home Alone 3?"
A second wrote: "How did I just a realize say Scar Jo was the sister in Home Alone?"

While a fourth commented: "Bruh I never realized Scar Jo played in Home Alone 3."
Fans weren't the only ones to miss Johansson's appearance as she previously revealed her six-year-old daughter Rosie didn't recognise her either.
Speaking in 2021, she explained: "Of course, naturally we did Home Alone. And I happened to be in the third Home Alone movie, and so I didn’t say anything to her because I thought she would make a big deal out of it."
She added: "I had to really, like, [say], 'See who that is?' She’s [Rosie] like, 'Whatever. Is that you?' I was like, 'It’s me, your momma.' And she was like, 'Oh, OK. Whatever'."
