BBC confirms return of beloved action series with Peaky Blinders and Game of Thrones stars

A boss from the publicly funded corporation has insisted there will be even more twists and turns in the highly-anticipated second series.

THE BBC has confirmed the return of a beloved action series with stars from hit shows.

Names from the likes of Peaky Blinders and Game of Thrones will star in the second instalment of Kin.

Auntie has announced it has acquired the second series of the Irish crime drama.

The show will see the return of the star-studded cast which includes the likes of Game Of Thrones star Aidan Gillen and Peaky Blinders' Emmett J.Scanlan.

Downton Abbey and Titanic star Maria Doyle Kennedy has worked with the likes of Lord Julian Fellowes on both relative drama's.

The actress has starred as Jocasta Cameron in Outlander since 2018 and she also forms part of the cast.

She will be joined by Daredevil star Charlie Cox, The Witcher's Francis Magee, Sam Keeley and Clare Dunne, who starred in The Last Duel.

The series has been produced by huge production houses including BRON Studios, who were behind the hit film Joker.

Headline Pictures, The makers of the hit Amazon Prime series, The Man in the High Castle are also behind the project.

The eight-part series continues the narrative around the , who are now at the top of the crime ladder in Dublin.

However, their success has attracted the animosity of an enemy who is even more dangerous than their last foe, (played by Academy Award nominee ).

What was once an unbreakable family bond quickly turns into distrust, suspicion and open resentment.

Sue Deeks, Head of Programme Acquisition at the beeb gushed: "All I will say is if you found the first series exciting and engrossing, just wait until you see the twists and turns in series two!"
