Coleen, 58, was asked asked the star if she was "great pals" with her other Loose Women stars.

Instead of giving a simple answer, the singer and TV personality hinted at tension with some of her fellow panellists.

She told Best Magazine: "Some are great work colleague friends and others, even if I left the show, I'd stay in touch with."

Coleen directly elaborated on exactly whom she would attempt to contact if she were to depart from the show.

Ruth Langsford was at the top of her list, which was followed by Brenda Edwards, Janet Street Porter and columnist Jane Moore.

However, she did say that she would still follow the movements of the other personalities not mentioned as she would be "interested" in what they do.

Upon direct rumours of backstage bust ups on the show, she admitted: "People think we're not friends because we're not hanging out together every weekend.

"But we've all got lives outside of Loose Women, whether it's family, kids or our careers."

After two decades appearing alongside the ladies on ITV, the former Nolan Sisters member revealed that she has changed and far is more guarded now than she used to be.

"I've been doing it for 22 years and back then you could say anything, because it was before social media and things blowing up."

She added: "I try to edit myself more now."

Although the star previously dismissed talk of a backstage feud, she recently admitted that certain people on the show weren't nice behind the scenes back in the day.

Speaking to , Coleen even admitted that she previously 'fell out of love' with the show for a bit.

"It was because certain people behind the scenes weren’t being nice and I wasn’t enjoying it," she confessed.

"Then those people went onto other things and great people came in, and I’ve loved it ever since."

Less than a year after the show began, Coleen joined the panel in 2000.
