Marty works as the commercial director while his business partner Jayne is the CEO.
Jayne came up with the idea of Sibstar while she was caring for her parents, both of whom are living with dementia.
She is an expert brand strategist and marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience in the business.

Meanwhile, Marty is an award-winning entrepreneur with more than 16 years of experience heading up specialist agency teams.
What is Sibstar?
Sibstar is a debit card and banking app designed for those living with dementia.
This is designed to help their families to safely manage everyday spending by having control of the app.
Sibstar’s debit card comes pre-loaded with funds with the ability to manage money and spending through the app.

The card can be instantly switched on or off via the mobile app, online or at ATMs, “delivering a flexible solution which can be scaled as the needs of individual customers change”.
The app also features spend limits, auto top-up and real-time notifications.
Jayne said: “How we choose to spend our money is a big part of who we are, that doesn’t need to change because you have dementia.
“We believe Sibstar provides a way for people living with dementia to manage and access their own money more safely, reducing their financially vulnerability, which means they can remain independent and live life the way they choose.”
You are able to load the Sibstar card with your chosen amount of money, then manage how and where that money can be used.
You can change anything at any tim, so Sibstar adapts to meet the changing needs of people living with dementia.
Sibstar costs £4.99 a month plus a one-off £4.99 set up fee.

Jayne and Marty are set to meet the Dragons on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
The pair face the entrepreneurs on Dragons' Den where they are asking for an investment in return of a percentage of their company.
It has not yet been revealed how the pitch goes for them, so you'll have to tune in to see what happens.
Jayne and Marty will pitch their business to the Dragons including Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies, and Steven Bartlett.
