LORRAINE Kelly was left stunned today after learning she will receive a Bafta Television Special Award.
ITV stablemate Susanna Reid was on hand to announce the prestigious honour to mark Lorraine's four decade long career.
GMB star Susanna sneaked onto the set while Tyler West went through a fake report about The Traitors with an unknowing Lorraine.
The host was left glancing uncertainly around the set as Susanna emerged from the screen at the back of the studio.
Upon receiving the news, Lorraine exclaimed: "This is nuts!"
"Where’s Ant and Dec? This is a prank."

She added: "This is lovely. I'm absolutely thrilled to bits. Goodness me."
When Susanna entered the studio with a golden envelope, she told Lorraine: "Good morning Lorraine, this has come as an enormous surprise… I have a very special announcement for you, Lorraine Kelly. It doesn’t get much bigger or more deserved than this. I am here for a very special reason this morning.
A tentative Lorraine said: "I'm frightened."
In an awards first, Susanna explained that Lorraine was being honoured for her decades in the industry, her life-changing campaigns and charity work and would receive the gong in a ceremony ceremony on May 12 at London's Royal Festival Hall.
