A HUGE West End star has landed a new BBC Radio 2 slot in the latest schedule shake-up.
Beverley Knight, 51, took to Instagram to announce the exciting news to fans.
The star is set to fill in for BBC Radio 2 host Elaine Paige.
In an Instagram caption, Beverley wrote: My luvs, I’m so honoured to be sitting in for the legendary Elaine Paige for the next few Sundays at 1pm on @bbcradio2 starting this weekend!
"I can’t wait to share your favourite show tunes with the Radio 2 listeners – it’s going to be such a treat! 📻 xxx."
One supporting fan commented: "You are the hardest working person I know baby….so proud…"

Beverley is widely labelled as one of Britain's greatest soul singers, best known for her hit singles "Greatest Day", "Get Up!", "Shoulda Woulda Coulda" and "Come as You Are".
