Taryn Charles, a special needs educator from Surrey, left fans stunned with her performance of the iconic (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman by Aretha Franklin, winning Bruno Tonioli's golden buzzer in the process.

With a ticket through to the live semi-finals, Taryn later revealed that it was a 20-year-old prophecy come true, after she Simon Cowell as a teenager he would 'give her a record contract one day'.

The video of her performance was later posted on YouTube, with fans across the globe blown away by her performance.

In fact, it was so good, fans noticed that she was given not one, but two standing ovations - and think this is a sign she could be crowned this year's Britain's Got Talent champion.

“Never seen fans stand up a second time and demand the golden buzzer," wrote one fan in the comments, with a second adding: “My thoughts exactly, not so much the buzzer but getting the 2nd ovation!”

“I’ve never seen it either! I cried from the moment she started singing, I just felt it so hard!," noted a third.

While a fourth said: “I will call it now. Taryn BGT winner 2024. She got SOULLLL!”

The high praise for Taryn comes as Britain's Got Talent was hit with a number of 'fix' rows over this year's stand out stars by viewers.

Taryn has also been accused of being a 'fix' by show producers after her previous appearance on TV.

Before trying her luck in front of the judges, Taryn appeared on short-lived ITV talent show, Starstruck.

Following in the footsteps of 90s smash hit Stars In Their Eyes, Starstruck saw  members of the public impersonate showbiz stars - with a celeb judges panel handing down their verdict.

Taryn appeared as a Whitney Houston impersonator on the series, performing I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me).

Sources told The Sun despite the acts taking multiple leaps at stardom, there is "no unfair advantage".

"The winner is crowned by the public vote," they said, "It’s fair game, as all acts are voted for by the public.

"The show has never hidden the fact that auditions are open to everybody, irrespective of previous experience, and everybody is given the same opportunity on the show”.
