LOVE Island presenter Maya Jama gave fans a snapshot of her relaxing holiday just before the hit programme returns.

Maya, 29, took over as host of the hit ITV2 dating series last year.

She became the third presenter to take the show’s reins.

With just days until series 12 launches on June 3, Maya updated her 3.1 million Instagram followers with a peek into her visit to a wellness retreat. 

In one clip, Maya and a friend are sitting at a table and sharing a toast.

Maya can be heard saying “cheers, honey" as musicians perform for a nearby group.

Maya followed Laura Whitmore and the late Caroline Flack as presenters of Love Island.

Her other work includes hosting Channel 4’s The Circle and serving as a pundit for Soccer Aid.

Maya has also been reprising her role as presenter on various Love Island spin-offs including All Stars and Love Island Games.

As for Maya’s own dating life, she was in a relationship with rapper Stormzy (real name Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr), between 2014 and 2019.

She later got engaged to Australian-born basketball player Ben Simmons in 2021, although they would ultimately call off their engagement in the following year.

Since then, Maya has reunited with long-term love Stormzy.

Stormzy, 30, headed out to South Africa in support of his girlfriend at the Love Island All Stars final earlier this year.

Returning the favour, Maya was in attendance as AFC Croydon Athletic won promotion to the eighth tier.

A consortium including Stormzy purchased The Rams last year.
