Sophie Raworth was born on May 15, 1968.
She is a journalist and television presenter and is best known for her work on BBC News and Crimewatch.
Sophie has a degree in French and German from Manchester University and joined the BBC as a news reporter for Greater Manchester radio in 1992.
She has remained with the broadcasting corporation ever since in a career spanning over 30 years.
In 2003, she married estate agent Richard Winter.
The couple share three children, Ella, Oliver and Georgia.
