A BBC Doctor Who and Auf Wiedersehen, Pet actress has sadly died aged 72.
Maya Woolfe appeared on some of BBC and ITV's biggest shows across her successful acting career.
A statement on the official Auf Wiedersehen, Pet social media channels confirmed her tragic death aged 72 on Friday.
The tribute read: "With sadness we announce the passing of Maya Woolfe who played Uli in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet Series 1, Episode 11, 'The Lovers'.
"Maya's many TV appearances included 'The Professionals', 'Bergerac', and 'Doctor Who'.
"We send our deepest sympathy to family and friends at this difficult time."

Maya played a pivotal role in episode 11 of series one in the ITV comedy drama Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
In the episode, named The Lovers, Uli, played by Maya, becomes the love intererst of Oz Osborne, portrayed by Jimmy Nail.
Their chemistry was sparked after Wayne Norris, played by Gary Holton, marks him out as a rich tycoon's son.
Uli then comes out with one of the most memorable lines of the episode while chatting with with Oz on a date at upmarket bar, The Tivoli.

In conversation about his inheritance Uli says: "In the meantime you are just one of the boys?" to which Oz responds: "Look again, pet. One of the men!"
Fans flooded the news with tributes, with one hailing her appearance in the popular show.
They said: "Part of the best quote in Series 1: Uli: 'so until then, you are just one of the boys?' Oz: ‘look again Pet, one of the men'."
Another wrote: "Sad news. One of the best ever episodes."
"So sad to hear and my deepest condolences to her family and friends. I am in the middle of a rewatch and that is my next episode! Going to be very poignant. So very sad," a third agreed.
"Sending love. One of my early loves is Auf Wiedersehen Pet x," wrote someone else.
Another penned: "Always sad when anyone from anyone from the show passes, but it's amazing how even the smallest parts are so fondly remembered.
"My dad had three lines in one episode, but people used to come up to him and quote one of those lines for years and years. Thank you, Maya."
Maya also appeared in BBC's Doctor Who where she played a receptionist.

She then had a role in series two of The Detectives as a secretary.
