NETFLIX is removing its 'best original film' - despite being branded a 'modern classic' and earning an impressive Rotten Tomatoes score.
Starring Natalie Portman, Annihilation is an exclusive film on Netflix in the UK.
Since its release, the sci-fi horror flick has achieved an 88% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
However, Annihilation is becoming the latest of Netflix's "Originals" to be removed.
It will be officially exiting the streamer as of Wednesday, March 12.
Natalie, 43, stars as main character Lena, a former soldier who is now a biologist.

Other cast members include Oscar Isaac, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez and Tessa Thompson.
Alongside fellow scientists, Lena embarks into a mysterious quarantined zone called The Shimmer.
This area is comprised of mutating plants and animals, while appearing to be a portal to another dimension.
Lena takes up the mission after husband Kane is the only returnee from an exploratory expedition.

Meanwhile, The Shimmer was created after a meteor landed on a a lighthouse in the St Mark’s National Wildlife Refuge in Florida.
But as the protagonists learn, it has expanded in the three years since then.
Reviewers showered praise on Annihilation, including branding it as a "sci-fi gem that is destined to become a modern-day classic".
Netflix distributed the film internationally in 17 other territories, on March 12, 2018.
Annihilation leaves Netflix on March 12, 2025.
