Watch as Pete Wicks MOCKS Maura Higgins’ past as he takes brutal swipe at her after split

PETE Wicks took a swipe at ex Maura Higgins' past in a cutting comment on his podcast.
It was revealed last month that reality TV duo Pete and Maura had split after a series of fiery rows.
Sources have since claimed that the ITV2 beauty, 34, called it quits after discovering her man was chatting with "loads" of girls online.
Just this weekend, in an attempt to swerve a reunion, Pete, 37, left the Brits afterparty early when the pair were found to have attended the same bash.
It came after the TOWIE alum attended the music awards bash with her rival Olivia Attwood, and Maura was forced to sit just feet away.
Now Pete appears to have stuck in the knife during a segment on his Staying Relevant podcast with BFF Sam Thompson.
During a question and answer session, Strictly contestant Pete was asked: "What would I banish in the world?"
He took a while to formulate a reply, taking a series of sighs before he said: "Erm, Love Island."
His co-host Sam let out a cheeky laugh and quipped: "That's so aggressive."
Pete, who then appeared to stumble over his words, said: "It takes over everything, that's all anyone talks about for f**king three months of the year.
"It's very difficult to have small talk with people when that's their reference because I don't know anything about it."
Sam, who continued to have the same beam on his face, added: "Let's be honest I can't imagine you hanging out with people who say 'when's the nearest episode of Love Island?'."
Pete said of the show that made Maura famous: "No but even when I walk through the office ... just no."
Maura starred in Love Island's 2019 series before going on to front the US version of the matchmaking series.
Pete's stark comments came after we reported how he was going to extreme lengths to avoid Maura - measures that are costing him £2,400 a month.
Pete has reportedly moved away from Essex into a swanky apartment in London - but it is said to be costing him a whopping £2,400-a-month in rent.
