It has been just days after it was announced that the stars of Ted Lasso will reunite for another instalment.
Fans had expected the third season to be the final outing for the show after it aired in 2023.
Casting for new characters is set to begin now that the show has been given the green light.
However, has reported that one role in particular will be recast as the search is underway for a young actor to play Ted’s son, Henry.

Throughout the first run of the show, Henry (played by Gus Turner) was mostly seen through FaceTime video calls with his dad.
The last episode culminated in Coach Lasso’s return to Kansas, where he was reunited with his young child.
He was initially a fan of the game, but at the age of 12, the young lad has now become a skilled soccer player.
Bosses have not confirmed the exact cast lineup or whether all the stars will reprise their roles.

However, the outlet reported that the first episode of season four will kick off in Kansas where shooting of the first episode will take place.
But, the main star and executive producer Jason Sudeikis announced he will be returning to the iconic character following months of rumours.
He gushed: "As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be.
"In season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be."
