Airing on National Geographic, the six-part series will see the TV star explore the world through magic.

In new images from the show, David - who has been dubbed the 'extreme magician' - can be seen pushing a steak knife into his nose.

He can be seen standing against a wall while attempting to keep himself dead still for the scary trick.

The razor-sharp blade appears to slide seamlessly into his nostril in stomach-churning scenes.

Another jaw-dropping snap shows the 51-year-old lying flat on the ground as venomous scorpions cover his entire body.

The jet-black insects can be seen crawling over his entire body, with his face completely covered by them.

His daring challenges don't stop there as another teaser from the series shows him completely submerged by hives of bees.

Blaine started his rise to fame promoting a back to basics form of street magic.

At first his family and friends were his only audience, but that was soon widened to high class restaurants where he showed off his card skills to intrigued customers before being hired for private gigs.

In 1997, his first TV special David Blaine: Street Magic aired with David's laid back demeanour hiding a skill that would often shock unsuspecting participants to the core.

David Blaine Do Not Attempt has landed on Disney+ and will air on Nat Geo on Thursdays from March 27.
