Huge comedian latest big name signing for Celebrity Traitors as star bounces back from shock marriage split
Source reveals comedian's excitement as 'huge fan' of show
COMEDIAN Lucy Beaumont has signed up to do Celebrity Traitors — a year on from her split from husband Jon Richardson.
She is set to travel to Scotland in the next few days to begin filming on the BBC series, hosted by Claudia Winkleman.

A source said: “Lucy is a massive fan of the show and is so excited about getting stuck in at Ardross Castle.
“After her split from Jon, she has been working really hard to make more of a name for herself and Celebrity Traitors is the ideal opportunity.”
Lucy, 40, will join TV stars including Stephen Fry and Alan Carr along with singers Paloma Faith and Cat Burns.
The mum of one presented Channel 4’s Jon & Lucy’s Odd Couples and starred in Dave’s mockumentary series Meet the Richardsons, which began in 2020.

She split from fellow comic Jon, 42, last year after nine years.
A statement shared by PA news agency was released last April.
It said: "After 9 years of marriage, we would like to announce that we have separated. We have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways.
"As our only priority is managing this difficult transition for our daughter, we would ask that our privacy is respected at this sensitive time to protect her well-being.

Ex-rugby star Joe Marler and Olympic gold-winning diver Tom Daley have also signed up for the show.
A production spokeswoman said: “The Traitors includes lies and deception, thus it would be foolhardy to speculate.”
