IT'S Eurovision time again and that means wacky costumes, jaw dropping performances and some seriously cheesy pop.

And this year it's set to be the most X-rated yet - with pole-dancers, revealing outfits and risque lyrics promising to give producers a run for their money.

Eurovision 2025 - which will see Country-pop girl group Remember Monday competing for the UK - has already sparked controversy with Malta’s entry Serving Kant, sang by Miriana Conte, rebranded Serving over producers' concerns the second word is too similar to the British swear word.

Miriana has even been giving out skimpy thongs featuring her song ahead of the contest in in BaselSwitzerland.

A Eurovision source said: “There are lots of risque acts this year and anything could happen. There are plenty of rehearsals but a lot of the acts have precarious outfits and you can never quite predict what will happen on the night.”

Milking it

In 2014 Poland’s singers Donatan and Cleo performed My Slowianie – We Are Slavic, and caused quite the stir.  

After releasing a video before the contest, which featured busty milkmaids, cleavage close-ups and a naked woman getting soapy in a barrel, the group put on a raunchy performance for the show itself.

The Hip Hop singers wore low-cut milkmaid outfits and danced alongside a sexy siren who churned butter in a truly suggestive manner. 

The performance even left TV host Graham Norton speechless. 

The act remains as one of the most memorable of all time, with viewers divided over the raunchy performance.

However, it was resounding hit here with the Polish entry topping the British viewers' votes.

Last year, DJ Windows95man represented Finland in the 2024 Eurovision competition with a techno dance hit. 

The visual artist, who’s real name is Teemu Keisteri, left fans in shock after suffering what looked like a wardrobe malfunction that left him with his “penis out” while wearing very short shorts. 

The performer began dancing in a flesh coloured patch over his groin and had his bare bottom out on the stage while he performed the song No Rules!

Then a pair of tiny denim shorts descended from the roof for him to wear but, while he was gyrating around, multiple viewers thought they caught a glimpse of his genitals and the performance went viral on X. 

One tweeted: "Finland getting their penis out mid-performance wasn’t on my family's Eurovision bingo card."

While another said: “There could be kids watching! This is just straight up creepy like wtf.”

In 2009, Ukraine made history with sexy Roman soldiers when Svetlana Loboda performed Be My Valentine (Anti-Crisis Girl). 

The main singer was surrounded by topless soldiers while wearing a red hot dress and dancing in a crazy light show. 

There was also pole dancing and three giant mechanical wheels which made up the stage. 

Fans later claimed the sexual nature of the performance may have cost it first place as it shocked viewers to their core. 

Ukraine ended up finishing 12th place in 2009. 

Mile-high clubbers

In a bid to get viewers on-board, the United Kingdom put on an airline themed performance in 2007, where the group Scooch performed Flying the Flag (for You).  

They finished in 22nd place and wore wore red lace bras and sexy airline costumes, supposedly hinting at the idea of the infamous 'mile-high club'. 

The group consisted of Natalie Powers, Caroline Barnes, David Ducasse and Russ Spencer and they reunited for the first time in six years to perform in Liverpool for the contest. 

They said: “Flying the Flag is the Eurovision equivalent of having a hit Christmas song for us.”

In 2022, Cuban artist Chanel, who was representing Spain, made her mark with her raunchy performance of Slo Mo. 

The performer turned up the heat with her sexy dance routine to the Latin pop song and wore a sparkly jumpsuit with her full bottom on display. 

Fans were divided over the performance, with some delighted at Chanel’s twerking and others commenting that Spain was only “wearing a thong to distract from the bad song.”

One wag joked: "Spain absolutely winning the Eurovision thong contest."

Spain ended up finishing 3rd at Eurovision 2022 after the country had previously won the competition twice.

One of Turkey's most popular singers, Hadise, performed the song Düm Tek Tek during the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. 

The performance consisted of Hadise showing off her figure while belly dancing in a red two piece set.

She was joined by frisky back up dancers and the sexy show landed Turkey in 4th place.

The female singer has also been the face of one of Turkey’s leading hoisery firms, Penti. 

Back in 2013, Turkey withdrew from Eurovision as they disagreed with the scoring system.

Magic mesh

Iveta Mukuchyan represented Armenia at the 2016 Eurovision contest in a sexy black cut out bodysuit. 

She was one of the first artists chosen for the 2016 contest and she performed the song the song LoveWave. 

Iveta’s performance also included holographic images of herself and fireworks. 

She finished in 7th place and fans were in awe of her bare mesh outfit that matched the modern style of the song.

Singer Tamta from Cyprus left nothing to the imagination in her performance in 2019.

While singing her song Replay, she wore thigh high leather boots, latex gloves and a bare bodysuit covered in jewels. 

Her backing dancers were also dressed in black mesh shirts and had sexy black straps on their shoulders. 

Cyprus finished 13th and fans called Tamta a fashion icon and said she knows how to play with the cameras. 

She is now one of the most high-profile performers in Greece and Cyprus.

Cyprus singer Eleni wore a sparkly mesh jumpsuit and flaunted her signature sexy hair flick while performing the song Fuego in 2018. 

Cyprus finished second in the popular contest and the singer stirred up a storm with her topless bikini pictures she posted on social media at the time.
