Strictly’s AJ Pritchard flips Saffron Barker over and dangles her upside down as she squeals in protest

STRICTLY stars AJ Pritchard and Saffron Barker have given fans a glimpse into their upcoming salsa routine, which includes an upside down flip.

The dancing partners took to Instagram to share a preview of the high energy dance, with Saffron, 19, being flipped upside down for a section of the routine.

Saffron is set to perform the salsa to Instruction by Jax Jones featuring Demi Lovato and Stefflon Don this weekend, alongside partner AJ, 24.

Although it appears the pair are yet to perfect the routine after failing to nail the flip during a video shared online.

At the beginning of the clip, a solo AJ shakes his hips before Saffron appears off camera.

As the professional dancer dangles Saffron upside down, she begins to shriek with laughter and ends up on a heap on the floor.

The Youtuber captioned the post: "When it doesn’t go to plan .. Sneak peak of our SALSAAAA!"

Fans couldn't contain their excitement for Saturday's show.

One wrote: "This makes me soooo excited!! cannot wait to see your salsa on saturday."

Another said: "I can’t wait for Saturday, your salsa is gonna be amazing."

A third commented: "This dance looks like it’s going to be amazing."

Their undeniable chemistry on and off the dancefloor has led some to believe that they are more than just friends.

AJ, who is currently in a relationship with girlfriend Abbie Quinnen, has previously spoken out about the rumour.

"Everyone wants to know about my relationship status, but I’m very happy with Abbie," he told .

Despite their close bond, a rep for the YouTube star was quick to silence any talk of a romance, telling the : “AJ and Saffron are great friends and have been training really hard for their performance on Saturday evening – this is clearly only what these pictures show.”
