STRICTLY Come Dancing's AJ Pritchard slammed the judges for "underscoring" Saffron Barker after their emotional elimination on Sunday night.
The pair remained defiant as they put on a united front in this evening's episode of It Takes Two, with the 19-year-old YouTuber referencing her dramatic exit as she told host Rylan Clark-Neal that she won't cry tonight.
Saffron and AJ found themselves joint bottom of the leaderboard after underwhelming the judges with their Samba at the weekend - receiving just five points from Craig Revel Horwood, 26 out of 40 overall.
Now 25-year-old AJ has insisted that their exit was solely down to the judges, explaining: "Going out there and doing a Samba, it is one of the hardest dances.
"You did amazing, you attacked it so positively and for me the dance was great, which I felt was underscored.
"Our fans saved us definitely, I feel like the judges sent home. It was a sad evening."
The host then addressed the "technical issues" the judges criticised Saffron for, with AJ sniping: "I didn't see any of them technical issues."
Saffron was quiet during the interview, having previously shocked fans with her teary outburst when she was eliminated.
She told Rylan: "I'm okay, I am gutted, it's weird more than anything.
"Strictly was my life for 10 weeks."

Saffron and AJ were in the bottom two alongside Karim Zeoural and Amy Dowden, with all four judges voting to save the latter.
The vlogger burst into tears as she prepared to leave the show, with AJ later admitting to The Sun Online that they'd begged bosses to let them off doing the Samba - but producers refused.
Saffron narrowly missed out on a spot in this weekend's semi-final, with EastEnders' Emma Barton, footballer Alex Scott, Chris Ramsey, and Kelvin Fletcher remaining in the BBC One competition alongside Karim.
