DEATH In Paradise fans spotted a blunder in tonight's season premiere of the ITV drama when Ade Edmondson held his mobile phone upside down.
The 62-year-old actor made his debut in the show earlier this evening, playing Charles Crabtree - both a witness and a suspect to the murder.
In tonight's first episode of series nine, a masked man stabbed a woman - but there was more to the attack than meets the eye.
Ade's character saw Donald, played by Samuel West, seemingly get attacked by the 'murderer' - but when he called emergency services fans noticed the huge gaffe.
The actor was noticeably holding the mobile upside down - with the phone's charging port clearly on display.
Viewers flocked to social media to share their response to the mistake, with one fan writing: "He was definitely holding that phone upside down, right?"
