JLS star Oritse Williams’ ex says she had to turn to food banks as her life became a nightmare

JLS star Oritsé Williams' ex says she had to turn to food banks as her life became a nightmare after their split.
Aimee Jade Azari - known as AJ - welcomed son Omré in 2014 but the couple broke up two years later in 2016.
AJ - a dancer and choreographer - moved out of their £1.7 million home and claims she ended up back at her mum's and having to go to food banks.
Speaking to , she said: "His fans troll me and say I’m a gold-digger – but when I left I had nothing. I was sent to foodbanks.
"I ended up on my mum’s sofa. If it wasn’t for friends and family, I’d have been living in a hostel. It’s still so raw."
The stress of the latter days of their relationship and subsequent split led to AJ - who had been in a girlband - losing her voice.
She added: "I’ve always been independent, but I couldn’t even put a deposit down on a rented flat as I’d stopped working.
“Around this time, my voice disappeared and I had to go to speech therapy. It hurt when people said I’d only been with Oritsé for his money.
"I had a successful career. If I wanted his money, I could have stayed. All I want is to rebuild my life and get my voice back.”
The couple welcomed their son a year after JLS split, but as Ortisé's career started to stall, AJ said he used his extra free time to become obsessed with the gym and his looks.

The band have now reunited, and will head out on an arena tour later this year.
AJ's claims have been strongly denied by Ortisé, with a representative for the singer telling The Mirror: "He does not wish to comment in order to protect the best interests of his child and also out of respect for Aimee as the mother of his son.”
