ITV cancels This Morning and Loose Women after PM resigns
The TV shows have been scrapped for a live news broadcast
ITV have cancelled some of the nation’s favourite TV shows until at least 2pm for a live news broadcast.
This Morning and Loose Women have been scrapped for live updates after David Cameron resigned as Prime Minister.
The official This Morning account tweeted: “As Britain has voted to leave the European Union ITV will be replacing with continuous news coverage of the historic vote.”
Loose Women’s account then added: “Due to the vote, will be airing rolling news coverage this morning and there will be no live Loose Women today.”
One fan responded: “I'm not happy about that I love my girls x”
With another adding: “That is ridiculous should have had their say instead of all the usual who got it wrong rock."
Another upset viewer wrote: "Shame, I would have loved to have heard what you girls had to say on it!!!! Feisty!!"
