GIRL POWER! Viewers praise BBC Breakfast and Good Morning Britain for their all-female presenting line-ups
There wasn’t a man in sight as the ladies welcomed in the new day

VIEWERS tuning in to BBC Breakfast and Good Morning Britain took to Twitter to praise both channels for their all-female presenting line-up.
The BBC had Stephanie McGovern and Naga Munchetty on Breakfast, while Kate Garraway, Ranvir Singh and Charlotte Hawkins were holding the fort on ITV’s GMB.
Both teams were also joined by weather ladies Carol Kirkwood and Laura Tobin.
And BBC’s Holly Hamilton was out in the field reporting to the studio as she tried her hand at some shooting sports.
Male presenters Piers Morgan for GMB and both Dan Walker and Mike Bushell for BBC are away on holiday.
Viewers were delighted with the line-ups on both channels and took to social media to share their thoughts.
One wrote, “ really enjoying the all-female team this morning; very relaxed and natural delivery,” while another added: “How refreshing having all female presenters on BBC Breakfast TV. Make it the norm!”
Another wrote, “Loving the all-female presenters on this morning!”
And one user added: “ Lovely to see breakfast presented by a female team. Naga, Steph, Carol & Sally, a joy to watch!”

Not everyone was pleased with what they saw when they switched on their boxes this morning as one man wrote, “ when are we going to have 2 male presenters, sick of 2 female presenters yet a gain, # sexiest # unfair
And another moaned: I ask again, why is it that you regularly have 2 female presenters but never 2 male? Sexism works both ways.”
