Singer Jessie Ware gives birth to ‘beautiful baby girl’ and celebrates ‘amazing’ NHS midwife

Jessie Ware has given birth to her first child with her childhood sweetheart Sam Burrows.

The singer, 31, announced the happy news on Thursday morning and personally thanked the NHS for helping her through the birth.

Jessie wrote: “We had a beautiful baby girl on Monday.

“Just to give a huge [heart] to our midwife, Emilio at UCLH for helping us through it!

“Love the NHS X.”

Jessie has remained under the radar since announcing her pregnancy earlier this year.

The Tough Lover singer was last spotted in June – wearing a black maternity dress.

Despite shying away from the spotlight, Jessie was keen to assure fans she was still working hard.

She recently wrote: “This doesn’t mean I have stopped working on the record. You will have new music asap.”

The birth of their baby girl comes two years after Jessie and Sam married in the Greek island of Skopelos – the same place they got engaged.
