Bankrupt Katie Price sells two family pets for £4k – less than a year after buying them
BANKRUPT Katie Price has cashed in after selling two of her family’s pets.
The controversial reality star, 45, banked thousands of pounds for the dogs - which she sold online.
Katie put her chihuahua Captain and Batman, who is a pomeranian and chihuahua mix, up for sale on freeads.co.uk last week for £2k each.
The advert for Captain, who Katie bought in May 2022, read: “Very handsome black chihuahua entire male, loves attention can be timid in new scenarios, good with children and other dogs.”
And the dogs were snapped up straight away - and are now both marked as ‘rehomed’ on the site.
A source said: “Katie’s kids will be so upset when they realise their pets are gone, but at this point Katie has too many dogs. She loves getting them when they’re puppies but goes off them when they grow up.”

Katie’s rep had no comment when approached by The Sun.
It leaves Katie with just three dogs - alsatian Tank, and chihuahuas Buddy and Colin - after her protection dog Blade was run over earlier this year.
The OnlyFans star previously said police were investigating Blade's death after she claimed the dog was killed as an attempt to ‘get at her’.
The German Shepherd died after being hit by a vehicle on the A24, which is close to Katie's West Sussex home.

She said: "Blade, my guard dog, unfortunately, it upsets me to talk about, but has been killed by somebody, he wasn't just run over. He was killed. There is a police investigation about it."
The tragedy happened just seven months after another of Katie's dogs, Sharon, was killed on the same road.
A driver picked the Pomeranian off the A24 and took her to Arun Vets in Pulborough, West Sussex, who confirmed the death.
The year before that, a delivery driver hit her Alsatian, Queenie, who was gifted to her by ex Kieran hayler on her 38th birthday.
In 2020 a second Alsatian, Sparkle, was hit by a car after escaping onto the A24.
Months later, French Bulldog Rolo suffocated after being squashed underneath a chair.
Katie also had to give away an out-of-control Alsatian, Bear, for attacking other animals, and gifted Precious, a dog bought for daughter Princess, to a crew member working on the Mucky Mansion TV show.
Last month Katie gave fans an insight into life at home with her pets.
She said in a TikTok video: "The guinea pigs wind the dogs up, and the dogs wind the guinea pigs up.
"If it's not the kids, it's the animals, and if it's not the animals, it's me. My house is just bonkers. Honestly."
Last month The Sun exclusively revealed how Katie's bankruptcy hearing has been postponed again.
