SALTBURN’S Barry Keoghan is set to become the new face of Diet Coke in a six-figure deal.

The Irish star, 31, follows supermodel Kate Moss and TV’s Holly Willoughby in fronting the calorie-free brand.

It comes a month after Barry became a brand ambassador for luxury fashion brand Burberry.

A source said: “Barry ticks all the boxes to be the next global face of Diet Coke. He’s long been a fan of the drink, for a start.

“He’s worked with the Coke team before but now is his time to join the big league.

“He’s one of the hottest, edgiest actors on the scene and boasts two million followers on Instagram.

“His management are making premium moves for campaigns and endorsements and he’s in demand.

Current Diet Coke brand ambassadors include telly presenters Nick Grimshaw and AJ Odudu.

Last year, Barry launched the Coca-Cola Thank You Fund, announcing £170,000 in grants for non-profit community groups throughout Ireland.

Barry, who spent time in foster homes and left school at 16, was Oscar-nominated for 2022 film The Banshees of Inisherin, and has shot to fame since playing Oliver Quick in Amazon Prime hit film Saltburn.

In January, we reported how he had been asked to leave a four-star hotel for “misbehaving” as his former relationship crumbled in May last year.

He was partying heavily, to the dismay of girlfriend Alyson Kierans, 36.

Two months later he split from the dental nurse, with whom he lived in Dundee with their son, Brando, one.

Barry now dates US singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter, 24.

The Sun on Sunday contacted Barry’s spokeswoman and Coca-Cola for comment.
