ROB Beckett has revealed when and why he's QUITTING stand-up tours - despite making a fortune from money spinning gigs.
The comedian, 39, has become a recognisable TV personality over the past decade, narrating reality programmes and cracking jokes on panel shows.
But, speaking exclusively to The Sun, Rob has revealed plans to step back from stand-up tours temporarily.
The comedian said: "I’ll still do stand up and local clubs and charity gigs but I’m going to take a break from touring until the kids are 16/17.
"Then I’ll do a big tour when they’re sixth form and when they go to Uni, me and Lou are going to spend Feb and March in Australia bumming around.
"When I’m 50 I want to do a psychology degree."

The Essex funnyman married wife Louise in 2015 and they have two daughters together.
He insists home life always takes priority over his work and he's also doing his best to be a fitter and healthier version of himself now he's a dad preparing to enter his 40s.
The comedian opened up about his weight loss journey and how he struggled to stop binging on booze and pizza at weekends.
Unsurprisingly he saw no progress when he was downing 10 pints and eating four pizzas after playing football on a Saturday.

Gooey melted mozzarella might be a thing of the past but Rob is now "smashing the absolute back doors off of fat free cottage cheese."
He revealed: "So I've been on a health kick. I've lost 10 kilograms.
"I was quite good at being able to hide the weight, but I was very heavy, so I've lost 10 kilograms.
"I think abs are probably attainable. I'm not sure if I'm willing to give up what you have to give up, because it's quite hard to get abs, I've discovered.
"I thought you just did a few runs and they just popped out, but it's quite a big commitment, actually."
Rob added: "I lost 10 kilograms between April and November last year and then I've sort of plateaued since, because I've been busy and it's quite hard to shift the rest without really going for it.
"But yeah, so I did April to November, and I was on a calorie deficit, but with loads of protein, I didn't know you're supposed to eat loads of protein.
"I've done calorie deficit before, but the protein key. I did not know this.
"And I had an online coach called Toby, and he basically told me what I should eat.
"Like in the in the carbs, protein, fat, he said, that amount, that amount, that amount.
"So I did MyFitnessPal where I logged what I ate, and then I went to the gym sort of three times a week. I just did that really.
"Basically, it's got a calorie deficit and go and exercise, you lose weight. Surprising, that isn't it?"
While he's making slow and steady progress, Rob doesn't expect to become a sex symbol like Harry Styles anytime soon.
In classic self-deprecating form, he accepted he lacks the aura of some of pop's hunkiest men.
"Look you’re either sexy or not and I'm not," he admits. "I met Harry Styles once and Robbie Williams. Harry Styles walked in a room and it was like the curtains had been opened. There was an energy of the room, like, 'f**k me. What's happening here? Oh, it's him'. He had everything.
"Robbie Williams, the sexiest man I sat next to. I was like, 'this guy's sexy. I can feel sex in the air'. Just has a sexual energy about him that makes people go, 'Oh, my God, he's so sexy'. Well, the same way some people can walk in the room and you go, 'f**king hell, they're miserable'.
"There's definitely an energy about me that’s funny and approachable and likable, and that is what is my energy, and you can't change that energy."
TV veteran Rob has been around enough big industry names to know who's genuine and who turns it on for the cameras.
And Alison Hammond fans can breathe a sigh of relief as he has revealed his Smart TV co-star is one of the most down to earth and family-orientated people on the box.
He said: "What I love about her the most is that, as much as she's amazing at telly, her main priority and her entire life is focused on her son and her mum.
"There's no surprise that this next level of career she's gone up in recently is mainly down for the fact she was always good enough to go to that level, but she didn't want to go to that but while her son was still at school and young and needing help with homework and dropping off.
"But now, you know, he's a man doing his own career and out and about. Now he's sort of growing up. She's now putting herself first, which seems so admirable as a parent that's trying to work out how to navigate life. She's someone I look up to."
While she might be a TV powerhouse, Alison's beauty recommendations leave a lot to be desired.
Rob was awkwardly stood up by a masseuse who she recommended to alleviate his hip pain while they were making their show.
Given Alison's boyfriend, David, is a sought after masseur so you'd have thought a tip from her to be been rock solid, but that wasn't the case.
Rob explained: "She gave me this masseuse's number, and then I texted him to arrange. I said I’ll see him tomorrow at like, 9am and he completely ghosted me.

"Oh, my God. This feels weird just getting like a bloke to come to my hotel room on a recommendation from a friend. Yes, I never got masseuse by her masseuse."
