LIQUID MONEY
George Clooney bottles £790MILLION for the sale of his tequila brand
The Hollywood actor flogged his liquor company to UK-based drinks giant Diageo

GEORGE Clooney and two pals were toasting the sale of their tequila drink brand for around £790million.
The US screen idol, 56, and his co-founders flogged Casamigos for the huge sum to UK-based Guinness maker Diageo.
It will pay the trio £553million up front plus a further £237million depending on how well it sells in the next decade.
Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman launched it in 2013.
Businessman Mr Gerber, 55, married to model Cindy Crawford, 51, said they only created it to “share with friends”.
Diageo boss Ivan Menezes suggested it could soon be widely available in the UK.
