KEM Cetinay and Amber Davies have been crowned the winners of Love Island 2017 – with the couple deciding to split the £50,000 prize money.
Their adorable love story captioned the nation’s hearts, with thousands getting behind the couple from the very beginning of the show.
Their relationship quickly became serious, with Kem revealing he was planning on marrying the Welsh dancer.
He told Caroline Flack during the show: “This is no banter, I can imagine myself having kids and a family with Amber.”
“This is the bird I’ve made my girlfriend, I am in love with her, I want to be with her forever.”
The couple beat Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt into second place with Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood coming in third.
Although their romance survived the villa, Kem and Amber faced a number of hurdles after coupling up in the villa.
The pair briefly split when Kem recoupled with Chyna and Amber with Simon but they soon realised they were better together.
Kem was later thrown when Theo Campbell and Jamie Jewitt picked Amber to go on a date.
And their romance was rocked again when Georgina decided to split them up and pick Kem to couple up with.
However it seemed nothing could tear them apart, and Kem and Amber overcame everything to stay together.
Their on-screen romps made TV history, with ITV bosses forced to give the pair a ticking off for not using protection.
Kem and Amber enjoyed 12 steamy sex sessions during their time in the villa and ended up being the stars of one of the series’ most watched episodes – with 2.4 million people tuning in.
As fans rallied around the pair, their parents had their say too, with Amber’s mum revealing she believed the couple to be the only “genuine” lovers in the villa.
However, Amber’s sister Jade warned them off any upcoming nuptials, saying on Good Morning Britain her sister was too young to wed.
Jade said: “She's 20 that's maybe pushing it a bit too far right now but I can't wait to meet him. I think he's such a lovely guy.”
Despite this, the couple seem more serious than ever – with both passing the show’s lie detector test with flying colours.
Kem later told viewers: “I already said to myself, I said to my mum and dad, the first girl I ever make my girlfriend, it is my intention for her to be my wife.”
Kem and Amber went on to walk away with the £50,000 prize money.
But in a final shock twist, Caroline Flack revealed the pair would have to prove whether they entered the show for love or money.
Love Island 2017 has been one of the most popular series yet, with each episode bringing in in between 1.5 and 2 million viewers.
Each week the viewer numbers have been climbing and at one point, a huge 2.4 million people tuned in to watch three of the islanders have sex on the show.
