TOM Cruise looked carefree as he was pictured publicly for the first time today since his ex-wife Katie Holmes confirmed her romance with Jamie Foxx.
The Hollywood superstar touched down in London in a black chopper, smiled brightly and gave a thumbs up - seemingly unaffected by Katie's love life.
He recently injured himself on set while filming Mission Impossible six, but he looked to be healing well as he strode across the tarmac on a gloomy September day.
The handsome actor wrapped up in a thick scarf, puffa jacket and jeans and was accompanied by a small entourage.
Katie and Jamie finally confirmed their relationship on Monday, emerging holding hands on a beach in Malibu.
The pair are thought to have been dating since 2013 but have kept their romance under wraps amid claims of a clause in her divorce settlement from Tom banning her from publicly dating.
The stars are reported to have been together since 2013 - a year after her split from the Top Gun star.
But they have always claimed to be "just friends."
In fact two years ago, Jamie, 49, was forced to deny dating Katie, 38, when a picture emerged of the two of them holding hands in a recording studio.
He told US website : 'Oh come on you guys have been trying to make that stick for three years, we're just friends.
"As a matter of fact Anthony Zuiker, creator of CSI, he offered us an animation project and we're working on that."

But the rumours persisted, with the pair being filmed dancing together in The Hamptons and US mag Us Weekly suggesting the pair were "secretly spending time together."
According to , Katie agreed not to publicly date another man for five years in exchange for £3.6million in child support and £3.8million payment for herself.
An insider claimed: "Katie signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce.
"She’s allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she’s not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter, Suri.
"[She] got $4.8 million in child support, plus another $5 million for herself.”
