Tina Malone sacked after ‘admitting possessing cocaine’ during pantomime performance
Actress has been dropped from the bill and has been replaced following her arrest.
TINA Malone has been sacked from the production of Sleeping Beauty after reportedly admitting to possession of cocaine during children's panto performance.
Insiders confirmed to The Sun Online that Tina had been given the boot this afternoon and will not appear in the remaining shows.
The 54-year-old Shameless star was arrested last night and escorted by the police from the premises.
Cumbria Police said: "Police were called at 8:21pm, yesterday, to the report of a female being in possession of an illegal substance.
"The incident occurred on Dalkeith Street, Barrow. A 54-year-old woman, from Merseyside, was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a class A drug.
"The woman was detained whilst she helped police with their enquiries. She was later cautioned for the offence.”
A source told The Mirror yesterday: “As she came off stage, she heard a rumour police had been tipped off she was using cocaine.
“She tried to get a taxi, but police stopped her in time and took her inside the venue to search her.
She begged the police not to handcuff her, and seemed very worried.”

Tina had been starring as the wicked fairy godmother Carabosse in the pantomime alongside another former Big Brother star Ellie Young.
The actress has not spoken publicly since her arrest.
