PIERS Morgan jokingly blamed Charlotte Hawkins for ending Brendan Cole's Strictly Come Dancing career on today's Good Morning Britain.
The presenter was busy mocking his co-stars for their efforts on reality shows, and after targeting Alex Beresford first, Piers turned his attention on Charlotte, 42.
He said: "Don't you get involved."
Chuckling, Charlotte replied: "I'm keeping quiet" as Piers added: "You ended Brendan Cole's career!"
Covering her mouth as the panel laughed, she replied: "Don't say that!"
The professional dancer shocked Strictly fans back in January when he revealed he had been axed from the show after 13 years.
The news came after he was paired with Charlotte for his last series, with the couple having a relatively early exit in week four.
Piers, 52, continued: "Well I'm only doing the stats but I mean I'm not exactly surrounded by the pinnacle of reality show achievement.
"Whereas you looking inward, are looking at someone who was chosen by the president as his Celebrity Apprentice.
"Sorry I'm doing the maths here and as always, I win."

As Piers smugly sipped his drink, co-host Susanna Reid replied: "When you do your own maths you definitely always win."
Earlier, Piers mocked Alex for finishing fifth on this year's Dancing on Ice.
He said: "I've only ever entered one of these things in my life, Celebrity Apprentice in America, and I won, and the person who chose me as the winner is now the President of the United States.
"I am one for one, that's it. You are one for zero, big fat zero."
As Alex laughed, Piers added: "You came fifth. You were beaten by people I've never heard of, literally never heard of them."
It isn't the first time Piers has spoken about Charlotte's exit from Strictly, with the newsreader previously hitting him on the head with a phone for his catty comments.
