LOVE Island reject Frankie Foster told pals he's not that into Samira Mighty just hours before she quit the show to be with him.
The former contestant was overheard appearing to dismiss the romance shortly before news broke that she was on her way home.
The Sun Online can exclusively reveal that Frankie was playing down his involvement with the West End star, 22.
He was overheard on the phone in Pret in Shoreditch, London, boasting to his mates about his Love Island experience.
Frankie said that a lot of what went on between him and Samira was not shown on TV and accused producers of making his romance with the singer look "bigger than it actually was".
An onlooker told us: "Frankie was standing behind me and he was on the phone chatting about his experience in Love Island.
"He mentioned that obviously there's a lot of stuff that isn't shown and a lot more goes on...
"And his relationship was made out to be bigger than it actually was...
"He was shrugging it all off and looked really cheerful to be out of it. It was not like he was pining for Samira."
Frankie's candid chat was overheard just hours before Samira decided to "follow her heart" and quit the show to be with him.
After news of her decision emerged, Frankie took to Instagram to express his delight.
He wrote: "Who’s heard the news!? I am so excited, just want to give her a huge hug... #frankieandsamira."
The telly star also shared a picture of some sexy lingerie that Samira had sneaked into his suitcase as he made his exit.
After Frankie was given the boot, Samira was left in floods of tears as he made his exit.
She was seen moping around the villa staring at his picture before announcing her decision to quit.
The Sun Online approached Frankie for comment and he said: "I have definitely not said that."
He was later reunited at Gatwick Airport with Samira when she flew home and was seen jumping into his arms.
