LOVE Island’s Samira Mighty has confirmed she “faked” her emotional airport reunion with Frankie Foster.
The reality star boldly walked out to follow her heart after Frankie was dumped from the island last week - and looked overjoyed to see him away from the villa.
The moment the pair came face to face for the first time at Gatwick airport was last night shown on Love Island Aftersun.
As exclusively reported by The Sun Online, eyewitnesses claimed the West End star filmed her reaction more than once after seeing Frankie at arrivals.
And last night Samira admitted she had actually walked PAST Frankie on the first take.
She told host Caroline Flack: "I literally died. I actually walked past him a little bit.
"I was like who's that fit guy who's holding up my name."
Frankie was stood holding a sign saying Samira before the pair locked eyes in the airport.
She was then seen jumping into Frankie’s arms in front of a film crew in pictures published by The Sun Online.
Our insider said: "I was a bit disappointed because it seemed a bit fake and staged. You can tell they're into each other because they seemed really happy. But it's a shame they had to film it twice.”
Later in the show Frankie made things official when he asked Samira to be his girlfriend.
A stunned Samira did not see his gesture coming, but beamed with happiness as she accepted his offer.
Speaking about her decision to leave Samira told Caroline earlier: "I definitely think I made the right choice. . . because I got my man.
"I was just miserable in there - everyone was falling in love and I was just in the swing seat."
Viewers were shocked to that 22-year-old Samira and Frankie had spent a night together in The Hideaway but it had not been shown.
Fans of the show were left baffled by the news and branded the show a “fix” once they learnt the truth.
The Sun exclusively revealed that the couple 'did bits' during a secret night of passion that was never aired.
A representative for Love Island said: "As we have said before, it is not possible to show everything that happens in the villa due to time constraints.
"It is always our intention to produce a show that is a fair and accurate representation of life in the villa."
