Dawn French makes a whopping £220k for her panto appearance — see what other TV stars make for their festive roles

IS it really pantomime season again? Oh, yes it is!
And up and down the country, the shows stars are set to dust off their wigs and sequins and earn themselves a top Christmas bonus. The biggest winner this year is comic Dawn French.
She is set to earn £220,000 for a five-week run in Snow White at the London Palladium. Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas is hot on her heels with a £160,000 pay cheque for her three-week stint as Mother Nature in Jack and the Beanstalk at the Liverpool Empire.
While Kim Woodburn is cleaning up as Snow White’s Wicked Queen at Liverpool’s Epstein Theatre. She’ll get £30,000 for just over three weeks’ work.
