BIG Brother’s Sallie Axl has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting her ex-boyfriend.
The 32-year-old has been released on bail after a video emerged which appeared to show her lunging at her ex Gerard Williams with a pair of scissors.
Taking to Instagram today, the glamour model and DJ - real name Sally Pryzbeck - revealed her shock and devastation at being arrested and vowed to fight it in court.
She wrote: “I was arrested last night for a section 18. I cannot believe he has done this to me. My phone has been seized.
“I will fight this. How can he do this to me? All the time I have done something for him. And I’m arrest, I will fight this in court, see you there.
“Was there till early hours this morning .As if filming and goading wasn’t enough . Now to be arrested on section 18.”
The star added: “Thank you so much for everyone’s support . I will fight this not only for me but for every woman in a domestic abusive relationship .
“Mental health is real . You are supposed to be there for person you love not destroy them.”
Merseyside police told The Sun Online: “A 32 year-old woman from Liverpool was arrested last night, Thursday 29th March, on suspicion of s18 assault.
“She has been released on conditional bail until Wednesday 24th April.”
Earlier this week a video emerged showing Sallie thrusting the scissors towards her former partner.
In a series of Instagram updates Sallie claimed the incident had taken place "over a year ago" when she was in a "dark place".
Sallie claimed she'd been laughed at by her former boyfriend, which prompted the outburst.
She said: "This video is from over year ago...I hope you all are never in a bad place like that. I was videoed and made fun off."
The video has since been deleted.
Last month Sallie was ordered to pay back more than £12,000 in benefits she wrongly claimed after she entered the reality show.
She left the apartment in Wallasey, Merseyside, when she moved into the Big Brother House in 2013.

She was the first to be evicted from the TV series - which was eventually won by Sam Evans - and moved in with her mum afterwards.
But she still got housing benefit for the flat.
Birkenhead magistrates ordered Sallie to pay it back and do 200 hours of unpaid work after she admitted dishonestly failing to notify a change of circumstances.
