Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions will see forgotten 2011 winner Jai McDowall replace Susan Boyle

FORGOTTEN 2011 winner Jai McDowall is to replace Susan Boyle in Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions.
The Scottish singer, 33, was brought in by producers after he was tried out against 2014 finalist Lucy Kay, 30.
An ITV source said: “They didn’t want to be short of contestants and SuBo was looking unlikely to confirm her appearance.
“ was ecstatic and will be putting his heart into the show, in the hope of making it right to the end.”
SuBo, 58, pulled out of the show because of a scheduling clash, The Sun revealed this week.

A source said: “She was excited to be asked to take part in the show, but has got so much on she doesn’t know if she can make it work.”
She was seen near her West Lothian home as BGT was filmed in London.
Jai was signed to Simon Cowell’s label SyCo after winning the show but was dropped less than a year later after poor sales of his debut album Believe.
